What is a Notary Public anyway?

As a Notary Public, I am a government-appointed official who serves as an impartial witness during the signing of important documents. My role is to ensure the integrity of the signing process for documents that often carry significant legal and financial importance. Please note, however, that notaries are not authorized to provide legal advice.

What should I bring with me when we meet?

To ensure a smooth and successful appointment, please bring the following:

-The document(s) that need to be notarized

-All signing parties must be present

-A valid government-issued photo ID, such as a Florida driver’s license

What type of ID is Acceptable?

You’ll need to provide one of the following forms of valid government-issued photo ID.

IDs may be current or expired no more than 3 years from the date of notarization:

1. Driver’s License

2. State Issued Identification Card

3. US Passport

4. US Military ID Card
